Burning on to 2 Cds

Just say I backed up a DVD I bought onto my hard drive, but then I lost the orginal DVD (lucky I backed it up ). Now if I want to burn it back onto a VCD, how do I split the file in two, to put onto 2 VCDs? Do I need to download some software? The burner software I’m using is Nero.

I use VirtualDub to split big AVI files. It’s a free download.

Brian[/quote]Virtual dub won’t do anything until after things have been encoded in some other format (to the best of my knowlegde). Changing the DVD format into something usable (avi, mpeg2) takes hours and hours (and hours).
