# Buxiban registration databases

I’d like to pin this here for easy reference once we get the answer.

There should be a page on the Taipei City Department of Education’s website where you can look up the legal name of every buxiban registered under with the municipal government. I know there should be one because I’ve accessed it in the past, but I recently went through the site and didn’t see it. (No jokes about being one-eyed, please.) There is or was also a database for all buxibans in Taiwan, though I’m not sure whether that’s official or just information someone happened to put together.

Does anyone have links for these – Taipei, other cities/counties, and/or Taiwan?

Thanks for dropping the `bsb.kh.edu.tw` link! As an independent school owner, we are actually finalizing our physical registration paperwork this week.

Once we receive our official Unified Business Number, does anyone know how long it typically takes for a new New Taipei City branch to populate live onto this national Ministry of Education database? Do we need to manually submit our website URL to the local bureau, or does the system scrape it automatically from our initial application forms?

Any insights from existing school owners or teachers who have navigated the registration lookup system would be amazing!
