Anybody has an experience using buyandship? I want to ask question about filling in the recipient address. It requires you to fill in Chinese name and I don’t have a Chinese name
How can I overcome this?
Do you have an official Chinese name on your ARC? If not, can you create one?
Otherwise it really looks like it’s geared for Taiwanese, or you may get better result asking the platform about this. Like if your name is Thomas can you enter 湯瑪斯?
Buyandship looks like they will ship orders less than 30,000nt with tax included, so great for those who wants to order from the states and not pay huge taxes (such as some electronics). Their shipping seems to be a bit cheaper compared to say USPS or whatever, but at 170nt per pound it is a bit steep, no sea ship option seems to be offered.
If shipping from China, skip it. Chinese freight forwarders offer MUCH better rate than this, and also includes tax. Air shipping from China for example is about 30RMB per kg, and that’s including taxes. Buyandship is charging the same per pound (which is smaller than kg).
The only part of that I’d trust is that a pound is smaller than (a) kg.

Buyandship charges by pound. It’s double.
Even with the ninja edits, it’s not.
I found a solution, I asked the CS and they said that I fill in a dummy Chinese characters and they changed it to my real name. I am buying items from US and UK to Taiwan. I don’t know if buyandship is the cheapest solution so if there are any alternative out there please recommend me

I think for shipping from the us it’s not a bad deal especially if duties are included. For china there are better deals.
