Buying US ETFs with TW bank app

Howdy,

Is it possible to buy US ETFs with a Taiwanese bank app? How about US dividend stocks?

Banks are not brokerage houses.

You need to open a separate broker account with the banks, most of them have brokerages. Go into a big branch they can advise. Some will say foreigners can’t open but actually you can.
Don’t bother buying US stocks with Taiwanese brokers, their fees are too expensive , they are just good for Taiwanese stocks.
I advise you to open an online broker account such as IBKR.

I finally opened an IBKR account but I am having trouble funding it. Most options are for using a US bank account but there are two options .

Credit/debit card but the fees are 5%

Wise account but my bank app can’t scan the QR code for PayNow.

How do you add funds to your IBKR account?
