Cable TV box for Slingbox

Hello

I have Slingbox 350 I wish to set up in Taiwan, but unfotunately the box we have isn’t officially supported (it’s from a company called 大大something something, English is “DMG” I think) so they don’t store the correct IR code for the remote.

I’m just wondering if I can buy a third party box that is supported, and will it work? The input is just normal RF cable, is the protocol DVB-T? And where in Taiwan can you purchase such a box?
