Caesar Salads in Taiwan, why do they all suck?

The reason that all Caesar salads in Taiwan suck is that they are all using that Kraft Caesar dressing out of a bottle.

It is the dressing.

It has to be creamy (a.k.a. fresh milk or cream in it…so $$ in Taiwan) and laced with garlic oil.

Come to think of it, olive oil is also pretty $$ in Taiwan.

The problem is that the ingredients to make a real Caesar salad are just too darn expensive. Restaurants might use the Kraft dressing and then douse the salad with real parmesan, as if that will make up for it.
