Cakes, pies, European style?

Where is Wendel’s? Do they have real cakes (not sponge cakes with fruit in them), like the kind you’d find at a US supermarket? I have yet to find a cake here that isn’t the usual Taiwanese spongecake texture.

There’s already [url=Wendel's German Bakery and Bistro thread on Wendel’s here[/url]. And yes, their cakes are very good!
