Yummy!

Sounds wonderful! USDA beef, organic hand-made buns… PLEASE reassure me that you aren’t going to completely RUIN it by using plastic processed cheese squares!

REAL cheese! Please!

Yes, real cheese please! Heck, COSTCO has reasonably priced cheddar slices just perfect for this kind of operation.

Best of luck with your new venture, btw! :sunglasses:

Had the chance to preview the food on Sunday, and it was great! The burgers were delicious, and the salmon fillet was awesome. The salads are a good idea, too… so hard to find a good, cheap salad in Taipei. Oh, and definitely the best fries I’ve had for some time - highly recommended. Good luck with the grand opening!

Hey Guys thanks for the prompt responses, hope you can come by and check it out…

In regards to the cheese, Dragonbones you got it right on…we’re using the costco american chedder cheese despite the higher costs…this is the same case with our bread, beef, etc. No taiwan plastics or american government cheese here.

*Even our salmon burgers are skinless, boneless fillet from sashimi quality Canadian salmon.

Hope to see you there!

Double yummy!!

Erm, could you maybe post a map?

Sounds great! I’ll be up there soon. Carrying a coin. It’s going to be needed, as it’ll be a toss-up from now on – the best beef noodles, Alleycat’s, the Italian Job and now you folks.
Choices, choices!
Best of luck.

No kidding. And for the health conscious Cottonfields is just around the corner on Xinyi. I usually load up on the rich stuff at IJ, or the beef noodle place, then head over to CF for a veggie shake.

Just wanted to post my recommendation too - but I was too busy salivating!!

I too was lucky enough to be on the taste-test panel of friends who got a sneak preview last weekend and the place - and of course, the food - is everything it promised to be: top-quality fresh food healthily grilled right there in front of you. The burgers are just the right level of juiciness, and the tofu burger, with its sesame/ginger topping, was superb.

Long live the California Grill!!

Just what was needed on Yongkang Street too…

Oh, and irishstu - it’s at the south end of Yongkang Street, almost on the corner with Jinhua Road.

All the very best to you guys!!

I hope to check it out next time I’m in town.

You should also post about it on Taiwanho. There’s a doctor over there who’ll be verrry interested to hear about a new cheeseburger on the block.

Oh man…right between work and home… Alleycat’s, The Italian Job, and now cheesebuhgas… (click on the link to watch the cartoon demonstrating how to correctly pronounce the word)

I am so in trouble now. So much for my vegan raw foods plan.

Plus Dingtaifeng, and Ice Monster for dessert!

Is it the 28th yet?

Hey Guys and grrls,

I know there’s a lot of hype about our cheesbuhga’s…and I stand behind every tasty bite of 'em, but I also wanted to put some attention to our salads.

 1. Napa Valley- A white wine vinaigrette in the spirit of the great Sonoma wine country east of San Fran…Our house mix of tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, red onions and chilled chicken.

 2. Valley Girl- Our house salad, just like the name it’s tasty, tart and a bit cheesy.

 3. Socal- If you’ve lived in Socal then you know about springtime, the O.C. and the sweet smell of orange blossoms wafting through the air…This salad gives props with a spicy yogurt dressing topped with chilled orange slices.

*you one of those peeps that’s tired of sugary Taiwanese ketchup and likes mayo with yer fries?
We are too! Garlic mayo and some mofo’ fries?

Heck don’t feel bad. Just tell yourself, “at least I’m not eating one of these”. . .
The Luther Burger is a burger with the traditional burger bun replaced by a Donut, usually a Krispy Kreme. This has got to be the world’s unhealthiest burger!

Possibly the worlds unhealthiest burger, the Luther Burger contains more than 1000 calories and typically has over 45 grams of fat per portion. . .
Oh the Luther Burger looks wretched!

Save yourself the heart attack and come have a tofu burger!

As for directions. I’m no good with computers so unable to upload a map, but will try and try soon!

If you are on Xinsheng South Road, Jinhua Street is just off of Xinsheng between Xinyi and Heping. Go up Jinhua, it’s right by the massive new looking elementary school, until you hit Yongkang on your right hand side. And we’re right there, next to a Japanese restaurant!

If you’re on Xinyi Road. Yongkang is off of Xinyi, just between Xinsheng and Jinshan. You’ll have to walk through all of Yongkang, past the park to the very end and we are there on the left. Soon, that end of Yongkang’s gonna be the busy part!!

See you all soon!
