Can China invade Taiwan successfully?

Most people from China with strong opinions like that, would refuse to live in Taiwan. Makes me wonder if she was placed in Taiwan on purpose.

She might have changed her views after some years here

It’s just how communist bandits operate, they see something awesome and they want it for themselves.

The Taiwanese guy got laid so he is not complaining

I wonder if she took him by force.

Probably got yelled at for talking on the MRT, maybe almost killed by archery practice in the park, let’s not talk about the roads, how about the food?

Correct, or maybe something simpler like coming from Shanghai and moving to Puli… could make anybody crazy

Reunification gets tempting

Taiwan is not, and doesn’t want to be like China. In China nobody can say anything which goes against the approved party line… What these “influencers” said is stupid and retarded, but better if they can be countered by reasonable words than censor them or kick them off the rock in my view

Best way to defeat them is make  of them. Just mock them endlessly… it’s sad that Taiwan has more anger and passion for the hat-flipping Brit than they do for someone who got residency just to declare the country she’s living in should be annihilated.

Another one…

陸委會宣布註銷林金城台灣身份

It is understood that Lin Jincheng once boasted in a “United Front Documentary” that he could help Taiwanese people apply for mainland identity cards and borrow large sums of cash from local banks! However, after the truth was exposed, it was discovered that he had multiple criminal records in Taiwan, including fraud, extortion, and forgery of documents. He is now wanted by courts in Taichung, Kinmen, and other places.

Has this been mentioned in this thread? I hate it when German tabloids give me this kind of news.

Perhaps China should not waste money and just wait for the US to self-destruct. Taiwan might be more than willing to switch sides when that happens… :man_shrugging:

Sturmen means invade?

That is correct, like “storming” or “This is how China wants to take Taiwan”

Great. And I just accepted a new job here…

I’m not sure that these things would be bringing in the first wave of men and arms though. They’re kind of sitting ducks.

I’m not nervous about the number of commercial airplanes China has, which could transport lots and lots of ground troops, so this? Meh.

These ships seem to be, to me, occupying forces and hardware ships.
It’s like someone threatening to hit me with a hammer from across the street.

Advocating violence is not covered in free speech or free expression.

She was kicked out because she is an enemy alien that advocated violence towards her adopted home.
