I am thinking of leaving Taiwan, but the tax office owes me around 100000 dollars. It was 93000 last year but I think I paid more this time. Is the only way to go along early May and then wait? They paid me on July 1 last year; If I go and see them next week, is there any chance they might assess me and pay early? For the end of April or May? I am not enthusiastic about giving someone responsibility to send it to me. I have only been in Taiwan for 2 years
