How common is it to pay rent with a credit card in Taiwan? I just got a new CC in my home country that can rake up some sweet air miles. Or is everything through bank transfer in Taiwan?
Bank transfer or cash here. Never met a landlord that took card.

In the US/Canada there are a number of ventures that allow you to pay rent with credit cards. But FinTech is decades behind in Taiwan so I doubt it.
These air miles are not free, but financed out of part of the commission which the payment recipient needs to pay to the credit card company. So apart from the fact that it is not customary, your wonderful air miles will not be free, but will mean a higher rental amount
The only way you’ll ever pay your rent with a credit card in Taiwan is through a cash advance at your local ATM.
