Can I use a Taiwan version iPhone 5S in the US and elsewhere?

Hi all!

I know a lot of people ask about bringing phones into Taiwan but I wanted to know from anyone here if I can use the Taiwan version of the iPhone 5S outside of Taiwan without ANY issue or do I need to have anything unlocked, etc.? I can switch the SIM’s in other countries, right?

I believe that phones sold in Taiwan are all unlocked, so you should be able to. Just keep in mind it’s only compatible with GSM in other countries. So in the US, it would work with AT&T, but not Verizon.
