Can this work in the Taipei MRT?

I digress. One should (outside of being in an extreme rush to take a dump) board a step of an escalator and wait until the ride finishes. You don’t jump up and down on an elevator to make it go faster. Just board a step and wait to disembark at the top.

Two by two is better.

they could also improve efficiency by having the 2 step gap between each person cut out. if it was one person per step then that would be twice as efficient. i think its mostly a waste of time figuring this stuff out though. it already works well enough as it is. i mean hey i wish i could hop on a slide right to the train door if you want to talk about improving efficiency but the system works as it is.

My guess is that’s not about efficiency, but rather preference.
Some people want to stand. They stay on the right.
Some people want to walk. They take the left.
That’s it. Everybody happy.

Exactly! :grinning: :rainbow: :peace:

Until one clueless person – probably a waiguoren – stands on the left!
