Not sure I agree with this pigeonholing. Health? American system has Obamacare and has had Veteran’s Admin for decades, which provides socialised medicine to large segments of the population. Education? State universities are public funded in the US –e.g., the world class California post-sec educational system. What about Canada and the regulation of for-profit colleges, which use foreign students as a cash cow? Or the high fees for foreigners at public universities. Hardly an EU type of universality (e.g., Germany) of low fees.
Again, hyper virtue signaling by Canadians, with little substance behind it.
