I need to visit the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei. Is there an MRT stop there?

Hey - I was in there myself this week, if you don’t already know it’s only open from 1:30 - 4:00 Monday - Friday. Government hours I guess…plan on getting in early.

They’re closed for lunch. Their website lists the hours as follows:

Office Hours: Monday to Friday 0830-1200 & 1300-1700

They only do passports from 1:30-4:30…grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…

I need to go next week. How’d it go for you? What did you need to bring? How much money did you have to pay?

Make sure you get there early and leave plenty of time for you to deal with them–absolutely the most clueless office I have ever dealt with.

I was coming from KHH and almost showed up in the afternoon. At the last minute I was looking at their site and realized they changed the hours so that they now only have service in the morning.

I talked with them today. And it’s mornings only now…between 9:30 and 11:30.

Doing things there is such a pain in the butt. Long waits, and they are superduper anal. Make sure you have everything and more, in duplicates, and that all your "i"s have been dotted. I did 3 trips in a week before I got my passport application in. Oh, and don’t forget to bring something to keep yourself entertained, the wait is loooong, since they only have like 2 people working in the whole place.
