I would also suggest you pick up some nasal spray (suggest: Afrin), and use copious amounts before and in flight, you don’t want to be landing with blocked sinus’s… The pressure in the ears is painful.
Funny, I’ve just got over a +1mth long cold, seemed each time I was getting better I would catch another strain, travelling between TW and CN a lot so that does not help. As I was ill for soo long a friend recommended taking some suppliments (LifePak), been on them for just 2 weeks, so too early to tell, but I have not had a cold in that time
Haha I like the Thai curry advice Nice one! Thanks cfimages… What does phet phet mean though? Im a bit worried…
Connel - thanks for the tip re: Nasal spray… Do you think I can buy some at the airport? Ill look around. Had a bad experience flying into Melbourne with a head cold - dont want to go through that ‘brain aneurism’ feeling again tonight…
Thailand! Land of Smiles… or something…
I went to the doctor this morning and he gave me a goodie bag full of little pills all wrapped up in individual serves (aint that cute?) There is like 7 pills in each portion - god knows what he has given me…
So hopefully it dries me out, or at least helps me to function in a semi-human state for the next few days…
Will update later if i hallucinate, pass out or anything equally interesting…
Well I arrived in one piece, ignored the taix touts at the airport and made it to my hotel safely…
These pills that Im on are making everything seem a little bit surreal… That and the 30+ degree heat here…
Went out for a drink after I arrived - bad move. Stupid pubba forgot that you shouldnt drink alcohol when taking antibiotics…
Stumbled home, and crashed out for half a day. Feeling a bit more human today but still not 100%
An early night, then off sightseeing tomorrow. Ill go, groggy or not. Dont want to waste this opportunity and succumb to the Taiwan Winter perpetual flu…
