My wife is going home (To Taiwan) next week with our son (22 months old). She is flying Eva from SFO. Does anyone have any experience with this. will they allow car-seats?
Why don’t you give them a call and ask? I’m sure there’ll be no language barriers.
Language barriers no… but barriers non the less. I love flying EVA, but their customer service stinks. At last call, customer service was going to send a telegraph to Taiwan to see if we can even use them there. We have heard that they are allowed, that they are not allowed, they theywere allowed for all but take-off and landing. And when we asked if we could use the car seat for the long trip, and then check it for the shorter trip to tainan since she did not want to drag it around for the 3 hour layover, she was told that she would have to go through immigration and then check back in from the ticket desk. I am sure this is not the case, so unless someone has some helpful hints she will just take the seat, and hope for the best.
