Cartoonist Edward Steed's sketchbook of Taiwan's baseball games

New Yorker’s article of Edward Steed’s impression of Taiwan’s baseball games. I particularly liked the sketch of a lion inside a 7-11.

I was at the May 9th Rhinos @ Monkeys game, where Chen Chun-hsiu hit a game ending homerun. So technically I am in one of his sketches as a colored speck.

That’s the shittiest drawing I’ve ever seen.
It looks like a drunk 3rd grader did it.

I’m also not sure it isn’t expressly demeaning to the locals.
I guess I’d be able to tell better if it wasn’t so crap looking.

I thought weird styled drawing is the New Yorkers’ thing.

There’s a sketch of the view to the field all covered up by inappropriate choices of net and cages. That’s one of the things fans have been complaining for years.
