This was a great film!

This is my favourite bond film ever!

Daniel Craig/the producers/writers have finally made Bond a 3D character!

No cheesy 70s campy lines!

Eva Green was so beautiful and moving and acted so well!

Daniel Craig is a honey: a rough and complex and very physical Bond. His physicality really lifted the action scenes. He is a good actor too.
Yeah, but can anyone act in it?

Since Connery, what the fugg has acting got to do with any Bond movie?

It’s about time there was a blonde Bond. Next One Will have A Ginger One 'n’all!

The above pretty much sums it up for me as well. Or in the words of another Forumosan: “pimp”.

I saw it last night and thought it was pretty good. Not your typical James Bond at all, lot’s of action but also darker and more violent. And Craig is a good actor, he did well in this movie. IMO.

Or maybe a “special” olympian?

Looking forward to catching this. Daniel Craig was good in ‘Layer Cake’. Always thought he would be a good bond.

My favourite Bond was always Roger Moore. ‘A View To A Kill’ was just fab.

All the reviews have been fantastic…I am looking forward to seeing this episode.

Hard to believe Sir Ian also wrote this…

It’s always been a dream of mine. Yet to date, I’m just not “special” enough :s

Don’t worry, am gonna work on it.
Hi, Ho, Silver!
Giddiup

Having a grittier, darker Bond was a predictable change. I would like to have seen a more dramatic reinvention of 007; in particular, I was hoping for a fat, balding Bond with a hairy arse.

In that case I’m James Bound.

Damn, I think he is a gingga!

Loved the chase on foot at the beginning and was very impressed by the guy being chased. During the weekend I saw a ‘making of’ show and they said the guy is Sebastien Foucan, the inventor of free running and pioneer of parkour. Pretty cool.

Um, like, ha-RO!

He’s like the yummiest yummilicious Bond EVARRR.

I TO-tally cxxaxxd my xxxtx, as I’m sure did all the women and pretty boys in the theater.

Very un-Bond. And in a positive way.

Daniel Craig doesn’t look like a James Bond. The animated opening credit sequence has no silhouettes of babes. It’s a very gritty movie. It shows emotional sides of Bond that no other Bond movie has. It has stunts bordering on the superhuman.

It blew me away! I’m definitely buying the DVD when it comes out.

By the way, I was happy to see him actually order the “James Bond Martini” (the “Vesper” - Gordon’s/vodka/Lillet) that he orders in the book Casino Royale (1953)!

FYI my father worked as sound engineer on the first “Casino Royale” film (1967), and on “You Only Live Twice” (also 1967).

Have you seen this Parkour clip on youtube? Superb!

HG

That was agreat moviei epescially like the speed at which it was shot, very neat camera effects.
Good acting, nice story, plenty of action.

a bond that sweats? ok. moore was sweating after pulling all those gs in moonraker and connery was really chuffed out after his big fight scene in never say never again. but craig’s bond has a glandular problem methinks.

but is there a reason for all this sweat?

a bond that bleeds? more blood effects were used in this show that the last 20.

but is there a reason for all this blood?

a bond that cuddles? that’s too much. the shower scene made me wonder if i’d wandered into a chick flick.

but is there a reason for all this emotional cowpuckey?

you can bet your bottom pound there is. bond is dead. long live bond.

what this discussion has yet failed to address is that this bond is a new character. completely. this bond has just had his “00” status bestowed upon him. all previous actors playing the role were the sum of all the parts. here we have a new bond, a fresh bond, at the onset of his career. he has been completly re-imagined.

and for this i say “THANK YOU!”

don’t get me wrong. i love bond. but this insures i can love him long into the next 2 decades. every book is fair game to be retooled. my one big hope is that they truly delve into the suicide theme that roald dahl missed when they remake you only live twice.
