To be precise, that’s a quasi-Schrödinger. Mere mortals aren’t capable of laying eyes on the real thing, or they would instantly explode due to the paradox-bursting effect.

Tldr: Her Excellency’s feline overlords wanted a private cat door, and it all snowballed from there.
Early in Payette’s mandate she wanted a door for her cats to be able to exit the living quarters on the second floor and go outside, said sources. The idea then changed into a private exit for Payette.
In case there’s any doubt as to who’s really in charge, she pretty much spells it out in her coat of arms.
In another sign that they’re running the show, photos of them are hard to find! A daring journalist managed to find one and sneak it into this report around 30 seconds in, and it hardly shows anything. 
In public she’s all oh yeah I’m totally a dog person, but we can see through this!
