Cell Phone Repair for a cell phone virus

I have an ATT&T Samsung phone which I brought with me from the States. I unlocked it and had been using it with a Taiwanese (myfone) sim card with no problem for about a week. Then the phone started to randomly dial numbers all on its own over and over again. I found out it was calling all the numbers in the call history so I deleted the whole history. It is not able to place a call but keeps trying and also will not shut down (I have to take out the battery) and it will also freeze up and the buttons will not work. I received several text messages in Chinese, which I opened (I didn’t recognize the numbers but have met a lot of new people and do not have their phone numbers listed in my contacts yet). I heard that you can receive a cell phone virus from these texts.

Does anyone have any experience with these types of problems? I am sure it is not the battery or phone itself, however I have taken it to numerous cell phone stores in Nova and other places and no one can help me. They do not have experience with cell phone viruses and flat out tell me that since my phone is American they do not know anything about it.

I really don’t want to trash my phone because I really love it. Please help!
