does anyone know if you need to have a certified copy of your diploma to secure a teaching contract?
what is a … certified copy?
where would you go about getting one?
Is it not enough to bring your original diploma with you to your interviews?
thanks

I’ve never brought in my original diploma or a certified copy. Even for the ARC application I only had a normal copy.
A certified copy is a copy with an official stamp. (Either your school or a notary)
You can get at the embassy (or however it is called over here) of your country.
Whenever I hire a new teacher, I just get my secretary to type up a translation of the degree. That, together with a photocopy of the original, has always been good enough.
