Changing an English-teaching ARC to a non-teaching job

I have an ARC with my current employer, an English school, but have employment lined up with an Arts Foundation (they have official status as a cultural foundation) before my ARC runs out. I would like to quit my job with the English School and go to work for the Foundation, and I do not foresee any problems with my current employer. (A nice boss.)

Does anyone know if the Arts Foundation could “take over” my ARC, as another English school could? In other words, can the Arts Foundation submit the same paperwork to take over the ARC? If not, would I have to get some other kind of work visa and leave the country? It’s hard to find any information on non-teaching work visas on the net. Thanks!

I didn’t have to leave the country when I changed from a teaching to a non-teaching job. You will get a new work permit and the change in employers will be noted on your ARC.
