A friend of mine and I have been working and living here for the last two years and really loving it. We are hoping to be able to apply for an APRC when the time comes but for the moment we would like to change jobs however from the paperwork I got on this site it says that if your ARC lapses at anytime during your stay; the accumulated length of stay you have accrued in Taiwan is reset. Now this might just be a misconception on my part or lack of knowledge about the process but if you change jobs doesn’t that mean your ARC is cancelled? thereby reset your time spend in Taiwan? If you want to make sure your time spent in Taiwan is not reset what would be the best way to change jobs?
