There’s something to be said for living near a bus stop that gets a good amount of traffic. MRT stations are nice and all, but the city buses can be even more convenient if you know your way around them. I live only 2 minutes walk from one and it’s unbeatable IMO, no need to walk up and down the subway stairs or through stations. Just get on, (hopefully) sit down, and get off. And if I must take the MRT, I can just catch a shuttle bus to the nearest station.
