Around 1937, Chiang Kai-shek apparently wrote a letter to Hitler, pleading for Germany to intervene the Japanese invasion of China. After receiving the letter, Hitler promptly rejected Chiang’s request. These communiques were put on auction Aug 24 2021. It was sold for $8,000 US.

I wonder if that is Chiang’s signature. If it is, which name did Chiang use? It doesn’t match any of Chiang’s names I could find.

Probably Loser Chiang.

Since the Letter was written in Berlin, my guess would be that this is the ambassador’s signature.
