china hasn’t been comunist since the 70s, and have been against it ever since. one can easily argue that china had both capitalists and comunists even before the 70s (ie zhou, deng, and ye), who were all active in gov before the 70s. it was only after the 70s that china took a turn for the hard right, and has resembled capitalism more than anything else. deng invaded vietnam in 79 at the behest of the west to prove himself worthy to his new capitalist masters. if that tells you anything about how “comunist” they were in 1979. what “comunist” country invades a country on behalf of a capitalist one?
