If you’re in to learning Idioms (cheng2 yu3) there’s a pretty cool dictionary that lists over 4000. It’s called “A Dictionary of Chinese Idioms with English Translation”. It’s softback so it’s not too expensive. The main drawback is that the idioms are ordered by the first Chinese char. (ie It’s written for a Chinese person that wants to learn English)
