Chinese linguistics reading list - suggestions?

I’ve just finished reading Jerry Norman’s Chinese (part of the Cambridge Language Surveys series), which has got me interested in learning more about the linguistics of Chinese languages.

So, I’m looking for suggestions for further reading. Anyone?

For instance, is Ramsey’s The Languages of China worth a read?

Sorry Chris, I missed this post somehow. I’d love to borrow it - what’s your opinion on the book (and the Norman one)?
