Chinese New Year Holidays - English School

Hi Everyone,

Currently trying to plan a vacation around the chinese new year holiday period, but not sure on the holiday period.
From what i understand, the actual chinese new year holidays should be from around 22 Jan - 28 Jan (Week 4).

My question(s), do the after hours english schools close for a longer period? Like one week pre chinese new year or one week prior to chinese new year?

Also, if they do close, is it something standard across the board with all schools, or is each school different?

It differs from school to school. I close for three weeks (usually related to the kids’ winter break) and one week or two weeks in summer. Just ask the school.
