Has anyone ever heard a Chinese-speaking person stutter? It just wouldn’t seem right with that language.
Come to think of it, what about a tone-deaf Chinese speaker? Jeepers creepers…

I know someone, and it’s more of a hesitation then a stutter (is that a stammer?). I first met him in the US and he did this speaking English. I just thought he wasn’t totally comfortable with the language, unsure of word usage, etc…
But, I asked my bf (he knows him, too) if he does that in Chinese. And my bf said yes. Now that I am aware of iit, I can hear it when he speaks Chinese. Though, I don’t always know what he is saying.
