Chooka--Just makes it up on the spot

This Australian farmboy grew up without TV or the internet. He was home schooled. His first introduction to music was Mozart but he couldn’t listen to the CD he was given after a house moving job for two years because his home didn’t have a CD player. He makes all his music up on the spot just to keep it fresh and alive:

Wow! More on Chooka here: http://sl.farmonline.com.au/news/state/agribusiness-and-general/general/farmhand-chookas-got-talent/2152916.aspx

Not to detract from Chooka’s awesome piano, but what the fark has that prick Sandilands got to do with talent, and who is that woman with the woeful Aussie accent? I must have been away too long cos I have to admit, the accents were jarring. Chooka’s clearly rural Queensland, that I can accept, but that woman. Screech!

I was hearing Keith Jarret’s Koln Concert from back in 1971. I’d be VERY surprised if yon Chooka hasn’t heard it too. Many, MANY times. Some parts were pretty damn close to being note-for-note, especially the end flourish. Pretty fucking amazing, though, nonetheless. Kid’s 16!

Yes, undoubtedly a ring in. But a good ruse.
