Christmas day for ex-pats

Hi,
Does anyone know of any kind of Christmas celebration, dinner etc. in Taipei? Please reply ASAP.

Thank you,
Larry

Only one i know of so far is Carnegies, send a pm to Tpebob for further details.

Try the bars and restaurants forum, Larry. Carnegie’s, JBs, the Tavern, most of the hotels will be doing Crimbo dinner.

I beleive On Tap are also doing a roast Proddie.

Anyone doing vegetarian yuletide dinners?

Preferably on a separate table to the meat-eaters, so we can have more intelligent conversations among ourselves.

Thanks!

“among”? That implies at least 3 people. Maybe you should use “between”, or perhaps “to” (as in “to myself”). :stuck_out_tongue:

Or you can say “by” (as in “by myself”), “…can have more intelligent conversations by myself.”

Guys, guys, guys! Don’t put yourselves down. I’m sure that, with a little help and a pocket encycopedia nearby, you too could have something resembling an intelligent conversation.

Though it might be a rather messy affair, with bits of shredded animal carcass flying out of their mouths and nostrils with every grunt.

Hehe. :bravo:

  1. You hurt my feeling.
  2. Intelligent conversations are over rated. I prefer beer fueled conversations about boobs or asking people to pull my finger.
