Hey all, am slated to be in Taipei pretty soon on a business trip and have not been back for more than five years so just wanted to get a good idea before I arrive - can cigarettes still be bought from the convenience stores like Family Mart or 711? If so can anyone let me know the price per pack for Marlboro Gold please? Appreciate any help!

I think most are 120 now. Think they increased the tax again in the last few years. But some are cheaper than others.
Most I see range from 90-140nt.
And yes. Cigarettes are still available. But you should buy a carton in the Taiwan duty free if you come. It’s really cheap compared duty free from most countries.
I was shock to find out it’s £15 for a pack here in England. Idk how anyone can be a smoker like that. Makes NYC prices seem cheap.
95NTD for a soft packet, 105NTD for a hard packet.
