My Taiwanese friend asked me this. I know this pertains to sex, but I guess I can share since it is somewhat health related.
He told me that his gf of 1 year wants him to become circusized. He’s 28 or so and she’s 26 or so. But it’s a criteria to continue dating and a definite for even consideration for marriage (dont ask me why). It’s for his sake and for her health (she’s paranoid she’ll get icky things down there if he’s un-circumcized).
He asked me and i’m like, I ain’t either.
He’s shocked. He’s like, “You American…You no cut?” I’m like, “No, dude. My skin’s there.”
Anyway, he wants to continue dating her and marry her one day. So he’s looking into circumcision clinics. (I’m laughing my arse off whenever we talk of this topic). He’s not afraid of the deed, he’s afraid of the pain. I told him he could get his nipples pierced for practice. Guy is in a dilemma.
I was talking to a few friends (2 guys, 2 girls) about this and as foreigners, we’re all in agreement that it’s unheard of for adults to get circumcision. I mean, the pain is one thing, but I think the part would have to be bandaged and it’s hard to conceal the “bandage” on the crotch. He’d probably get a ton of dates during that time…Again, funny stuff.
Anyway, without naming names, do any of you know anyone who has been circumsized as adults (15 and up)? Please share your (or his) experiences and I’ll try to assure my friend that it 's not too bad.
It sounds like your friend is leaning toward circumcision.
Here’s a nice little story about a grown man who got a circumcision. It doesn’t sound like too much pain for a small surgery. Your usual bit of blood here and there and minor bruising for a few days afterward. Take a week off of work and make sure to wank a lot before the surgery!
I don’t know of any man who got a circumcision as an adult, they all had it done as babies. However I do know of one uncut guy who wished he was circumcized as a baby. Last I heard, he didn’t want to go under the knife, but he often thought about doing it.
I don’t want to sound like a troll, but if they’ve had sexual relations already (I’m just assuming they have), isn’t it a bit late for him to get a circumcision so she won’t get “icky things” down there? Wouldn’t she already have icky things by now?
Is circumcision done in Taiwan? How common is it amongst newborns?
Good question but that’s not how it works. After 8 years of marriage and two kids, my mother started getting sick, as in strange reoccurring vaginal infections. She consulted many doctors and specialists until one of them asked a simple question: “Is your husband circumcised?” She was diagnosed wit having a reaction to the bacteria from my fathers uncircumcised penis. About a month later, my father went through the surgery and my mother’s health issues disappeared and never occurred again.
To answer the OP’s question, your friend can expect pretty nasty swelling for the first to days, as well as difficulty walking and sleeping. Pain. After the first couple days, the swelling goes down and so does the aching, unless unsuspected momentarily “swelling” happens if you know what I mean. The stitches do not expand to accommodate swelling. A week later there is no more discomfort, and after two weeks, the “device” is fully functional and ready for an enhanced sexual experience. Sex will not last as long for the first few times but things will resume to normal soon.
Eeew! Why didn’t they just tell Dad to wash the old fellow once in a while? I’ve had my foreskin for nearly 50 years and never had a bacterial yukkiness there. Soap’s a wonderful thing.
Soap’s a wonderful thing.
Use soap all you want, your penis harbors more bacteria under the foreskin than if you were circumcised. I don’t think it’s very common, but some women become sensitive to that.
And you know what? Lopping off the outer labia of young females also leaves them much fresher. And please, don’t even get me started on what a mess lurks under that clitoral hood!
Ritual sexual mutilation of boys–perfectly normal.
Ritual sexual mutilation of girls–call in the UN.
Gah. What horseshit. I’m cut, and when I get my time machine, I’m going to go back and kick some doctor in the nuts. Somehow our cavemen ancestors did just fine for hundreds of thousands of years with the turtlenecks and cheese, and then all of a sudden foreskin became an enormous health risk?
Baloney.
Soap is indeed a wonderful thing. Chopping off parts of sexual organs for no real reason is a sick and twisted thing. If I’m ever blessed with a manchild, I guarantee you that ain’t no doctor chopping off part of his Johnson.
And if a friend told me that his fiancée wanted him to skin his wang before marriage, I’d tell him to lose that freaking psychopath. Drop her in a hurry.
