The Bush Administration aims to recruit millions of United States citizens as domestic informants in a program likely to alarm civil liberties groups.The Terrorism Information and Prevention System, or TIPS, means the US will have a higher percentage of citizen informants than the former East Germany through the infamous Stasi secret police. The program would use a minimum of 4% of Americans to report “suspicious activity”.

do you actually check your information before you post it? or do you accept it as fact simply because the author shares your same anti-bush view? tips was killed in late 2002. the article you’re quoting from was written in mid 2002. your post just shows how little you research your own arguments and what pains you’ll go through to make bush look bad.
