I once stepped on a mime. He was lying in a field immitating a useless piece of shit. He was so crazed. It scared me. You know what those silent types are like. Well he bit my friggin’ leg off and now I’m a mime amputee.

Send that joke to Ma Ke…I think he would like it!
First step - Challenge all Taiwanese politicians to ban those stupid ozone-eating aerosol horns from their election rallies and protest demonstrations. It would also prevent damage to their supporters’ ears and allow people to actually hear what the politicians are saying in their speeches.
This is a joke, right?[/quote]
I guess you’re right to a certain degree. Most Taiwanese people are totally ignorant about the problem and none of the major political parties could care less.
I went to the action today. There were probably about three hundred people there. It is disappointing when you consider tens and even hundreds of thousands of people regularly turn out for political protests in Taiwan.
Maybe it should have been called “Climate change, a few people in Taiwan care!”
I got there later on when the main action was over and forked out NT$1500 to join the Taiwan Environmental Action Network. It is expensive to join things in Taiwan! (p.s. It’s half price for students.) Nice to see the Green Party doing something - They have been rather quiet for several years.
