Clothes make the teacher?

I no longer teach preschoolers, but even when I did, I wore khakis. Sure I lost a few nice shirts to fingerpainting accidents (as in, kids getting a big gob of tempera paint and then smacking their hands down just as you bend over to compliment another kid’s artwork), but I felt better losing a shirt or two to dressing like a slob.

I’ve always managed quite fine… a pic of me before a class… write all your students names without the vowels… including y… then get them to try and ay their names.
