Owners of the Coca Cola bottling plants in Colombia were paying paramilitary death squads to assassinate union leaders. 5 union leaders were murdered.

Columbia is a nice southern town, home the the Fighting Gamecocks of USC. Perhaps you mean Colombia? It’s a country in South America.

The human rights situation in Colombia is absolutely appalling but isn’t getting much attention in the media. Thanks Boogie for bringing it up this serious issue - it merits more intelligent discussion than we have had so far in this thread.
