This just in – the Gitmo base commander has just been sacked. The news reports are unclear on this, so it is not sure whether it was because he couldn’t tell who had the extra key necessary for stealing the canned strawberries or if it was because of one too many “code reds” on his watch.

In Bushian newspeak, this would normally mean that McCoy’s dismissal was directly tied to his handling of Gitmo detainees.
