Cold showers?

I’ve been taking cold showers due to my broken water heater and things taking forever to get fixed. And it’s been surprisingly good. I feel really good after and I’ve been feeling really mentally alert and positive. And it helps me not feel cold in this cold weather in Italy after. I looked it up and it turns out there’s a lot of benefits to it and it’s not just in my head.

Anyone else take cold showers?

yes, during Taiwan’s hot summers.

But, cold showers in general are better for the skin.

Yup. I take cold showers, in mornings only, by choice. Been so long I forget what supposed benefits there are, but I do it. In our hot summers I extend the cold showers to afternoons too. I love how it jump starts my system, and add a coffee…let’s go.

Studies out in the last few years describing how it’s good for your heart and it actually has been verified contributes to life extension.

So living in Yilan under the eternal rain must have made me immortal. Good to know.

yes, but I put the water on my body before my head.

I took cold showers st my son’s place for 4 months because he has no hot water heater and am happy that I got a tub and hot water at my accomodation

Two additional benefits:

  1. Saves on the gas or electricity bill.

  2. Easier to get rid of one-night stands in the morning, because most people don’t like cold showers.

Hot showers for me. I love four things in life.

Hot showers, hot food, hot weather, hot girls.

No hot coffee?

I don’t drink coffee daily. I go for coffee with friends and happy to drink a Cappuccino. But places like Tim Hortons and Starbucks turn me off. I treat coffee like liquor.

That’s all you needed to say. :sunglasses:

Wow, don’t drink and drive!

Sometimes I treat coffee with liquor too. Sambuca Cappuccino anyone?

@_Lilith?

If I can’t spell it I don’t eat it.

Amaretto nitro cold brew coffee! Goes with the cold shower.

I do when I’m on the farm, simply because there’s nothing else available.

Not convinced it’s “better”, but it does the job …
