Complications for dual citizen (US/Taiwan) English teachers?

Like the topic title says, I’m wondering if I’m likely to encounter any problems stemming from dual citizenship when it comes to teaching English. I figure the Taiwan citizenship might be attractive for employers in that they’ll probably have less paperwork to fill out, but there might also be the possiiblity of some sort of fixed payscale they’d have to adhere to for citizens.

Basically, I haven’t come across anything related to dual citizenship having any sort of bearing on teaching English (though being ethnically Taiwanese (which does not mean I speak English in halts and stutters) apparently does matter to some employers according to some forum members here). So… anything to watch out for/take advantage of?

Yours truly,
Huggles
