Anyone know a specific store with a good selection of PC cases and power supplies? I guess those are some of the things that are made here or in PRC and are a good deal here. I did find an interesting store in the corner of the basement of the computer mall near main station that sold lots of fancy CPU coolers. Are they going to tear down the other giant computer mall under the road any time soon?
I go for the case, not the shop. CoolerMaster and Lian Li cases are the best. Personally, I prefer the CoolerMaster for both the case and the power supply. Contact them and ask what shops carry their cases. BTW, they aren’t cheap.
I musta been blind. I wandered around outside the main computer market. I’ve never seen so many cases in my life. Anyway, the guy showed me a CoolerMaster Centurion case, for NT$2500. He brought the box up from the back room, and I read over the specs in English. There are reviews of this case on the internet. I noticed a price sticker on the box that said NT$2150, and pointed that out. So he sold it to me for NT$2050. Now, can anyone point me to a good power supply…
Outside the main computer market in guan wha in bade road, there are many shops selling lots of cases. One to look for is Superflower 201B. It is all aluminum and has 3 clear sides for case mods. It is better than lian li because it has a removable motherboard tray which makes installation much easier. Best of all it only costs 2800NT. There are nothing but rave reviews about this case from tomshardware. There are only ONE shop that sells this case though, and it is located on bade road, first alley, and there will be a shop that has large diameter liquid neon lights on display (and they are always sold out of them… dont know why they even bother displaying them).

Will happily second the above in terms of cases, not so sure about the PSU though, i have one from CoolerMaster, cost NT$8000 and had nothing but grief from it, finally gave up with the shop and took it back to CoolerMaster, they eventually replaced it with a new one which so far has had no problems, but i expected better to start with for that price.

Several do. I got mine (see above) from Bade sec. 1 #60 (up the street of stores outside the computer market indoor mall). Let us know what price you can get. I am pretty happy with the case. Tool-less, black, attractive, 5 inch fan in the back. There are reviews of the CoolerMaster Centurion on the internet. Mine was with no power supply.
