It is not collateral damage.
Anyone who knows anything about modern artillery and the accuracy of weaponry (especially that sold to Isreal by the US) will understand that collateral damage on this scale is just not possible.

I probably should have written it as “collateral damage”. Or used a sarcasm smiley.
As far as I’m concerned, it was cold-blooded murder.
Not excusing anything, but, what was the UN doing there?
Not much, obviously.
Well, yes. I know that.
But, what was it supposed to be doing?
It’s there so the US can veto it every time it makes a decision or ruling. Just like what happens when the UN exists in other war-torn countries.

:bravo:
That’s great. I thought they were there checking out the locals gals.
Isreal would be criminally foolish to give the Golan Heights back to Syria.
Brings to mind the saying “theres no fool like the fool who thinks he is educated and thinks he is smart”.
Reminds me of all the posters who want to give away something for nothing; a very foolish proposition.
The U.N. is doing what it has done since Korea: waste your money.
This business about the other Arab countries assimulating the Israeli or Palestinean arabs is BS. They don’t want them. They keep them penned up in refugee camps. Egypt doesn’t want Gaza, which belonged to Egypt on old maps, because then they would be responsible for the Gaza Palistineans, who aren’t Egyptians. Some Muslim brotherhood!!
Well, yes. I know that.

Observation posts… observing.
They’re derived from the same root, related to the ancient Hebrew place name “Pelesheth”. (Source: etymonline.com)
well, he did say, to his knowledge… which isn’t saying much.

I don’t think that is correct, Juba. I don’t think the Philistines ever occupied much of the land in dispute, and I don’t think the “Palestinians” are the same, or even the decendants of the Philistines.
I could be mistaken, but, I believe the Philistines came from Crete, and the name “Philistine” means “invader” in Hebrew.
Don’t forget, the Askenazi Jews (the East European Jewry) aren’t historically the jews of Israel and Judah. They were eastern europeans who converted. Rather it’s the sephardic jews (ie the arab jews) who came from the Middle East.

So they wouldn’t actually be semitic!
And what about the Ethopian Jews who moved to Israel?

In fact, the Jews who dominate Israel (mostly Ashkenazi european jewry) discriminate against their other brethren whether they be Russian Jews or Ethiopian Jews, because they aren’t “European”. Point is, they aren’t as homogeneous as one would think (spectrum of ultraorthodox, pacifists, etc).
Timely advice given what’s happening in Aleppo!
