Confucius translated into English

Can anyone provide some information on the history of Confucius’ Analects in English translation?

When was the first English translation completed? Where? By whom? How many translations have been done to date? (For comparison, I know that there are many versions of the Bible, some of them completed quite recently.)

I believe that there was a translation of Confucius’ writings completed in the 1880’s, but was that the first one? I suspect not.

Does anyone have any insight on this issue?

I suppose you can search this on the web somewhere, but my guess is that the first complete English translation was the one by James Legge (and still in print). If you’re interested in partial translations (excerpts), I don’t know.
A Latin translation was done earlier of at least some of Confucius which was available to Leibniz and other Europeans.
