let me tell you what happened to houston! houston for us in louisiana and around those parts was always a family vacation place on account of the astrodome, astro world theme park, NASA, etc. they wanted to make the protions big to impress patrons witht the “everything is bigger in Texas” theme. the big portions never went away and now it’s the standard amount. beer belly is so common in houston you just accept it almost. gross but true. however, if you go to the inner loop area, there’s lots of thin people. the people who live out in surbubian hell love there cowboy food!
