Container full of stuff, garage sale

I have a 20 foot container full of stuff that needs to go. It is located in a container storage facility in Taishan district, New Taipei City.

Address of the facility:新北市泰山區大科一路29號

I will be there from around 1pm or so on weekdays (as they are not really open on weekends), and the stuff must go. You will want a car or maybe a scooter for some of the smaller items… but here is a list of the items that are inside… unfortunately I can’t photograph every single one of them because it is packed in boxes and stuff and there is literally a ton of items inside. Some of the items are listed on Facebook marketplace so if you want them, the price will be whatever’s on it (I’ll try to include it if I can).

The stuff basically belonged to someone who owns a travel company… and you can imagine how that went… So he hired me to basically get rid of it, because he’s in Thailand.

Maybe it would be a good idea to focus on the higher value items and provide actual (and sufficient) info, photos, and asking prices for those?

A lot of this looks like junk (“Costco shopping bag”? That’s where I gave up trying to read the list), and for the items that might actually be interesting like the printers there isn’t enough info to judge whether it’s worth buying or not.

I’ve been playing Fallout 4 a lot recently, and this reminds me of my inventory after going around collecting too many random items for scrapping.

I’m guessing the camera model no. should be “D5100”, btw.

Would that guy be a Kiwi?

If the monitor lies face down, you’ll need to sit under a glass table to see it.

the thing will stand up, but the swivel won’t let it tilt up…

Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a glass table somewhere in the list.

Holy crap. That’s quite a list! I hope you make money for the headache.

Yea, wait til you see the stuff in person. Imagine dealing with the fallout inventory list except all the low value crap is in the front and there are tons of it, and hidden amongst the stuff is the higher value stuff.

And they need to be gone.

I’m paid fairly for the work though…

I am interested in some of the cotton string. And maybe some tape, pity it is white.

Remember you can donate what cannot be sold. Tzu Chi or any other charity would get it. Or a thrift store like 再生工場. They do go and pick up stuff.

I’ll take the black garbage bag and the ziploc. Been looking forever for those.

I’m going to be there tomorrow around 12:30, so if anyone wants something be there.

Yea I can donate whatever… it’s a shame most churches don’t even do this or are not in a position to do so…

Bagsie the ‘Airport Time Capsule’ :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Only kidding I have no idea what that could be.

Edit - OK it’s this thing.
Cool name for a boring product.

Shit, I didn’t know we’d be allowed to reserve stuff when I posted earlier. Otherwise I’d have tried to get my hands on that sweet second-hand light bulb, but it’s probably been snapped up already.

Do you have an asking price for the projector and tripod? Does it work (or is it likely to work?).

If it’s going for a good price I’ll have that and can take some other random shit too (buckets, canvas).

Theres got to be some spoons in there…Somewhere. @jimipresley

I need to first dig out the projector, but the projector screen/tripod should work (I mean… those don’t break easily).

Projector screen is 1000 or best offer (I have no idea how much those cost new), tripods… probably 300 if I can find it.

I’m willing to bet the projector isn’t more than 2000 though… I mean no way I’d sell it more because you got the matter of projector light bulbs that costs about 8000 (or maybe they are less now).

:joy:

Good advice from Andrew.
