Is there an process to get NTD cash from coins? I know in some countries this is allowed in banks.
Many banks have coin deposit machines which allow depositing coins directly into your account. You’ll need an account with them, though. As an alternative, you can use coins to recharge your EasyCard.
For easycard, is there a deposit machine similar to the banks?
Yes, every MRT station should have a top-up station where you can throw in coins and add them to the balance on your card. The downside is that you‘ll have to throw them in individually so it’ll take considerably longer than going to a bank ATM / CDM.

I see. I bought ticket with coin before. I guess the same machine also has the recharge option. Need to check later.
Some ATM’s like Cathay’s have coin machine functionality. The downside is you kinda have to know where they’re situated. I’ve seen one outside the PXmart here, but never in a convenience store.
