Converting from 30 Day Visa-Exempt Entry to Resident Visa

Because you are not a minor already, you need to find an employer which supports your work permit and ARC, if you want to get an ARC and work in Taiwan. After you get a work permit, you can get your ARC based on the work permit. Or, if you would find a Taiwanese spouse, you can get an ARC based on the marriage, and can work without a work permit.

Your country has an organization for people like you.

Hello,

I would like to ask after get the visitor visa (single entry), and Arc (I got a working permit). How I can get multiple entry in the country? Do i have to get resident visa?

Thanks a lot. The post of Mr Nigel is still valid.

Iirc, entry and exit rules are different between blue collar ARC holders and other ARC holders, but basically you apply for multiple entry permit at the same time with your ARC.

Thank you very much tando.
