Knew a guy who’s father’s claim to fame is that he absconded with a lot of cash after working at customs at TPE airport for some time and was wanted for “questioning”. Oh he went to NZ.
My ex-boss was an emigrant to NZ, former mgr in Acer, I have in-laws that left too, she got in on the nurse’s visa. They are both nice types. My in-law is also running a small farm there now. The only complaint I heard was the kids got mixed up in trouble in NZ.
My ex-boss is still working in Taiwan, hard to get a good job in NZ for most emigrants probably.
